Graduate Admission Requirements

Divinity School

Applicants to the Divinity programs at Shaw University are required to submit a $50.00 application fee as well as the following required paperwork:
  1. Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities.
  2. Two letters of reference.
  3. Health forms completed by your physician (resident students only).

M.S. Early Childhood Education

Applicants to the Early Childhood Education programs at Shaw University must have:

  1. An undergraduate grade point average of 3.0.
  2. A minimum of two years of documented professional experiences in an early childhood setting.
  3. A TOEFL score of at least 500 if the applicant is an international student.
  4. Two professional letters of recommendation.
  5. A successful interview with the Graduate Program Committee.
